JACKSON, Wyo. — After being appointed to Town Council last year, Alyson Spery has announced that she will run for a full four-year term.
Spery, a documentary filmmaker, applied to fill the vacancy left open by Arne Jorgensen when he was sworn in as mayor. She was the councilors’ unanimous choice out of five finalists.
“I’m grateful to our community for investing in me, and I feel a deep sense of gratitude and purpose to put that investment to good use,” Spery said in her campaign announcement. “Now I want to earn the voters’ support to continue serving the people of Jackson.”
